Frontier Town

Located on the "mainland" not too far from Ocean City, Frontier Town offers both a place to stay during your visit and a couple of ways to add a bit of different entertainment to your stay. Camping is available at the Frontier Town Campground and the nearby Fort Whaley Campground.

Frontier Town's western theme park is a replica 19th-century western town with daily western-related shows. There's also a water park and western-themed mini-golf course. And the latest addition is Buckaroo Park, with a batch of rides suitable for the youngest kids.

For campers, the Fort Whaley campground is about 15 minutes outside of Ocean City and with easy access to Assateague Island National Seashore. The Frontier Town campground is the area's premier camping resort, with over 500 sites that can be used for everything from tents to 45 foot motor homes. It's on Sinepuxent Bay with a boat ramp and fishing/crabbing pier.
