"Grand" is the operative word in the name of The Gateway Grand Residences - this condominium complex is designed to be the most exclusive address in Ocean City, Maryland. And unlike most of the high-rise condominiums in the city, The Gateway Grand will be in the lower part of the city, at 48th street.
The Gateway Grand has 250 feet of beachfront for use by residents. These aren't glorified hotel rooms - each unit has 3 or 4 bedrooms, 3 or 4 bathrooms, marble bathrooms, gourmet kitchens, 9+ foot ceilings, laundry rooms, private balconies and a parking garage. The ground floor lobby and lounge area will be beyond anything you've seen in an Ocean City hotel, with tall vaulted ceilings and wide open views of the ocean. There will be indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center and individual storage units. Owners get permanent "gold cards" for the big Seacrets Night Club next door.
Construction of The Gateway Grand Residences may not be completed until mid-2008, but you can "visit" them today via the rather amazing computer-generated renderings and animated virtual tours available on their web site.
